Are you hungry for an exciting opportunity with a fast growing new media company? Highly motivated to bring in new business and close new sales? Do you thrive on identifying and developing new customers? If so, then join the exciting team responsible for building a new Internet portal in the $2.3 billion home remodeling advertising market.
Responsibilities:
- Sell online advertising to the retailers, manufacturers and others associated with the home remodeling industry
- Aggressively prospect and secure new accounts
- Serve as a consultant to clients by assisting with media planning, marketing, budgeting and developing creative marketing strategies for your accounts
- Work closely with agencies and rep firms on third party ad sales
Strengths and experience must include:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Comfort interacting with the highest levels of business leadership
- Ability to influence buying decisions both in-person and via telephone and email
- Goal oriented self starter
- Proven track record in prospecting and closing new customers
- 2-3 years of advertising sales experience in direct marketing, daily newspaper advertising, or internet advertising.
- Knowledge of home improvement industry highly desirable.
This position is not for those who want to side on the sidelines and simply "service" existing accounts. If you are qualified, you'll be getting in the ground floor of a fast growing company in a very dynamic field. There is plenty of upside for managing national account sales, regional sales management positions and lots of commission!
